A: We buy single-family houses, duplexes, triplexes, quadruplexes, small apartments complexes or basically any type of house without wheels on it!
Q: Does the condition of my house matter?
A: We buy houses in ANY condition, whether it’s “ugly” or otherwise. At Metroplex Homebuyers we’ve seen and dealt with it all! Fire damage, floods, termites, wrecked foundations, animal infestations or hoarder houses just to name a few.
Q: What if my house is currently rented?
A: Yes, we do buy houses with tenants living in them. We strive to minimize inconveniences for all the parties involved, both property owners and tenants.

Q: What is the process and how long does it take?
A: At Metroplex Homebuyers we pride ourselves on making the sale of your house fast and simple.
When using a realtor you can expect to spend time listing the property, weeks or months of showings, and back and forth negotiations just to get your property under contract.
From there you can expect to spend additional time waiting on banks, appraisers, inspectors and insurers to approve the sale, which typically takes an additional 45 or 60 days. And this doesn’t include any of the time, expense and headache spent making any required repairs to meet bank approvals. If that sounds like a lot, you’re right!
When Metroplex Homebuyers purchases your house we eliminate all of that. We work with your schedule to evaluate your house at your convenience. A typical property evaluation takes between 15 to 30 minutes. After evaluating your property we are typically able to provide you with our fair offer in as little as 1 day, if not on the spot.

Q: How are you different from a real estate agent?
A: Real estate agents list properties and hope that someone will buy them. The agent shows the properties to prospective buyers if there are any (the average time to sell a property in many markets right now is 6-12 months) and then take a percentage of the sale price if they find a buyer. Oftentimes, the agent’s commission is 3-6% of the sale price of your house (so if it’s a $100,000 house, you’ll pay between $3,000 – $6,000 in commissions to an agent).
Agents provide a great service for those that can wait 6-12 months to sell and who don’t mind giving up some of that sale price to pay for the commissions. But that’s where we’re different: We’re not agents, we’re home buyers. Our company actually buys houses. We don’t list houses. Since we’re actually the one buying the house from you, and we pay with all cash. We can make a decision to buy your house within a couple days (sometimes the same day).
Again, we make our living by taking the risk to buy the house with our own cash, repair the house, and market it ourselves to find a buyer (which is the hard part in this market).
